MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health confirmed 17 more cases of COVID-19 in the county. The Health Department says this now bring the total number of confirmed cases up to 996, with 45 probable cases.
Health officials say there are 160 active cases and Northwest Missouri State University says 48 of those cases involve Northwest students or employees.
Health officials add that there are three current hospitalizations. Officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
